Neukaps builds small browser extensions. Each one does a single job, ships as a Chrome Manifest V3 extension, and is written so that the work happens in your browser rather than on someone’s server.

That constraint is not marketing. It decides what gets built: an image compressor that uses the browser’s own encoders instead of an upload queue, a resume parser that uses deterministic patterns instead of a model API, an OCR tool that bundles its language data instead of calling a service. When an extension does need the network — a currency rate, a domain registration date — the post about it says so plainly.

The other consequence is permissions. Several of these extensions ask for no host access at all and run only on the tab you invoke them on. Where a broad permission is genuinely required, it is named and explained rather than buried.
